Four things a price chart won't give you.

27

Exhaustive signals

Each crop is tracked across about 27 public datasets: futures and curves, FOB and CIF premiums, balance sheets, export sales, weather, hog margins, biofuel demand, COT and technicals.

7d

Fresh every week

Every dataset is refreshed weekly and stamped with its as-of date. You always know how old a number is before you act on it.

1:1

Every number sourced

Each figure links back to where it came from: USDA, CFTC, EIA, CONAB, NOAA, NASA and more. You can bring the evidence to your own committee.

3m

An analysis layer

A scored driver board, fair-value models and 1–3 month direction calls. You also get the opportunities, risks and arguments to use at the negotiating table.

Coverage

One page that replaces twenty tabs.

These are the signal families on the soybean complex dashboard. The wheat and corn dashboards follow the same structure for their own markets.

Freshness you can audit

You can see how old every number is.

Market data goes stale at different speeds. Settlements are daily, fund positions are weekly and balance sheets are monthly. Each dataset shows its source and its as-of date, so stale data is easy to spot.

  • Weekly refresh of the full dashboard, with each update dated
  • Source agency named on every chart and table
  • Model inputs and back-tests published alongside the calls

The analysis layer

Data tells you what happened. We tell you what it means.

Each week the drivers are scored for direction, weighed against each other and turned into a call for the next one to three months. Every call comes with its reasons and the risk that would prove it wrong.

  • 17 drivers scored bullish, bearish or neutral for each product
  • Stocks-to-use fair-value model, published with its error band
  • Opportunities, risks, negotiating arguments and a dated watch list
Built for four seats at the table

Same market, different questions.

The dashboards

Three markets. One method.

Each dashboard is a single page you read from top to bottom. It starts with the bottom line and the direction calls. Below that come the evidence and the full list of sources.

Anatomy of a dashboard

From the bottom line to the raw data.

1 · The bottom line

The week's read in a few sentences: what changed, what it means and what to do. Written for a reader with five minutes before a call.

2 · Direction calls and scoreboard

A 1–3 month direction for each product, with its main reasons and main risk, next to the 17-driver scoreboard.

3 · Prices, curves and physical premiums

Futures, forward curves, crush and spreads next to FOB and CIF offers by origin. You see where the board and the cash market disagree.

4 · Fundamentals and flows

WASDE and CONAB balance sheets, US stocks, stocks-to-use, export commitments by week and Brazil's shipments to China and the rest of the world.

5 · Demand drivers

China's crush and imports, hog prices and the sow herd, and soybean oil used in US biofuels. These move meal and oil before they move beans.

6 · Crop and weather

Condition ratings and harvest pace against their averages, rainfall versus normal by growing region, two-week forecasts and the historic link between rain and yield.

7 · Positioning and technicals

Managed-money positions since 2018, plus moving averages, Bollinger bands, channels, MACD, RSI, stochastics and ATR for the active contracts.

8 · News, risks and the calendar

The policy and trade news that matters, why it matters to buyers and sellers, and the dated reports to watch next.
